19" flat screen monitor recommendations

I'm going to buy one and I'd like some of your opinions on what's good.

I can understand wanting a nice, big, clear TV, but for monitors, meh, Im cool with about 17" that's black (that's what SHE said!) [img]eek.gif[/img]

that's a lot of decent brands out there, none really better than the others as far as i'm concerned. The important things to look at are the DPI, the contrast ratio, and the max resolution. Find one that has a level of quality in those fields that you can live with at a decent price.

Mine's the Apple monitor that came with my Mac. Not sure who the OEM is but I love it. Much easier on the eyes than the old CRT monster at my office. Don't know what brand to recommend but most of the flat screens I've seen are pretty good.
